Series Races
Can any race join the Black Bag Race Series?
Yes. We will allow multiple races at the same time in the same region but do not recommend it. For example, if Classic Race Services is timing a race in Athens at 8AM and a race in Watkinsville wants to join the series and their start time is 8:30AM, then the runners can only make one race. We would recommend the Watkinsville race move the start time to 9:30AM, then runners could then drive from the Athens race to the Watkinsville race.
Can a race on the Black Bag Race Series be on another race series?
YES. You may be on as many race series as you want or can afford.
How does a race join the Black Bag Race Series and what is the cost?
Any race that is timed by Classic Race Services will automatically be on the Black Bag Series for free. Any race that is on the Clover Glove series will automatically be on the Black Bag Series for free. If you do not fall in one of these categories, your race can join the series for $1 per finisher up to $200. If your race has 50 finishers, our fee is $50. If the race has 500 finishers, our fee is capped at $200. A $100 deposit is required and must be received prior to the race being added to the Black Bag Race Series Calendar. At the conclusion of the race and once we have received your results in an excel spreadsheet format, we will send an invoice or refund for the remaining amount dependant upon the number of finishers.
What does a race get for being on the Black Bag Race Series?
Your race will be posted on the Black Bag Race Series website with links to your online registration and paper registration form, a link to your results from the Black Bag Race Series website, and BBRS points will be given to ALL finishers in your race. If you send us your flyers, we will put them out at races all over the state.
